Unlikely Friends

"A creative story my kids wanted me to read to them over and over." - Kimberly Black - Ages 6 & 10.

Sylvia Labrum has written so many stories and poems that have touched us all over the years. This project is aimed at formally publishing and sharing these stories. The first of many we will be publishing is called "Unlikely Friends: The Snail and The Worm."

Interactive Stories

Print, eBook, audio, and interactive formats are in production.

All books will be published in various eBook formats in addition to print versions. Wherever your kids are, Sylvia's stories will be available on their favorite devices.

First of many

A project that will span over the years to come

We anticipate more books to come. We are working to publish all of them over the coming years.

For now, I want to say that I love you Mom. You are the most beautiful mom in the world. Our lives have been touched in every way because of your love for us and everything you do for us. We hope this project will at the very least demostrate just a tiny, little piece of how much you mean to us. You deserve the world, but we'll start here and work our way to that :). Love, Darren

Mom's Stories

A defining part of our lives.

Sunday, May 12th, 2013 - Mother's Day

Dear Mom,

Every time Mother's Day rolls around it becomes challenging to think of a gift for you. After all, what can you really get for someone that means the entire world to you? This year, we decided to do something a little different. You are such a fun, loving, and outgoing person that is always looking out for your children and others. I honestly don't know anyone that is as cheerful and fun to be around. Your fun and outgoing attitude is something I'll always love about you.

Not only are you the most fun and loving person we have in our lives, but you also have touched us with your stories. All of us that have heard your stories and poems have come to love them. They have significantly impacted all of us and we want you to know how much we love your stories, and most importantly, how much we love you. Your stories and poems will forever be a priceless treasure in our lives that can never be replaced.

This Mother's Day will mark the beginning of a project that will take some time and resources to accomplish. However, we wanted to mark the formal beginning of it today. The project will be to formally publish your stories in various formats including print and interactive. There's lots of work to do, including illustration and all the other details that will go into it.

Your stories will forever be in our hearts, and now with this project, they will last forever, touching the lives of all future Labrum generations to come. You have blessed us all in ways that are impossible to fully comprehend.

We love you.

With Lots of Love,

Darren
